What Is Feminine Beauty? (Two # point of Views)

An Artist's Point of View

It is easier to evaluate a painting than to give one's concept of beauty. For beauty is too relative to be defined. Treated or explained historically, scientifically, or systematically, a definition of beauty can be confusing; much more does it become so, of course, if we talk about feminine beauty.

A friend of mine was lost for several years. But one day he appeared with a lady beside him. Sensing my astonishment and curiosity, my friend whispered to me. "Tine, my wife is a sweet little twinkling star!

A star! I could not believe him, for to this day I still am puzzled because a face splattered with small pox can never be, to me, a twinkling star. Here must be an angle to beauty of which I was ignorant. My friend could yet be right!

Let me tell you my concept of feminine beauty. It it strictly personal, and so I shall not be surprised if you disagree with me.

A beautiful woman is every inch a lady. Age does not matter. The older the better. But she must have individuality, character, and physical beauty. This lady is different because she is uniquely good mannered and well behaved. Height? I am not particular about this. But she should possess a kind of freshness, like a flower with the morning dew, a "loveliness that keeps you thinking, charm that moves you from the inside." She is courageously beautiful because she is not lazy, indifferent, nor easily discouraged. She is pleasant but firm.

Her voice is sweet and clear. her movements radiate a kind of softness that moves and touches your imagination, and eyes that hit you like a meteor coming from nowhere.

I admire Mona Lisa very much, but I do not want you to be like her. I only wish to share with you what Walter Peter said about Mona Lisa. "Cell by cell, it is built up, and it is built up from the inside. It's character, it's warmth, it's a way of thinking, it's knowing the world, knowing and understanding people."

An Art Critic's Point of View

Beauty may defined as that quality of anything a phenomenon of nature of work of art which, when seen in its entirety, gives an impression of harmony, balance, order, completeness, and suitability. A woman may be considered beautiful, therefore, if all her features and all her qualities are in such harmonious relations with one another as to give anyone who sees her a pleasant sensation at wholeness and totality.

This means, to begin with, that she must be eight times the diameter of her head: that the distance from the top of her head to the angle formed by her legs must be the same distance as the distance from this angle to the bottom of her feet; that her legs must be slim and so straight that, when they are together, coins placed between thighs, between her knees, and between her calves will not fall; that the width of her mouth when in repose must be the sane; that the distance from her hairline to her eyebrows must be the same as the distance from this point to the tip of her nose, and the distance of the tip of her nose to her chin; and that, when her arms are outstretched, the distance between the fingertips of one hand to the fingertips of the other hand must be equal to her total height.

Even if she were perfectly proportioned physically, however, a woman would not be beautiful if her carriage were poor if she did not stand tall and walk tall, with her chin up, her chest out, her stomach in, and her feet parallel to each other while walking. Neither would she look beautiful if she dressed in such a way as to give more importance to her clothes than to her personality. Clothes must be to a woman what a frame is to a picture; it must set off or highlight her best qualities.

Facts About Beauty

The very thought of the word 'Beauty' thrills and kindles imagination. Beauty is an inner feeling about the external world. It's the perception of the invisible mind about anything visible to our eyes. Nature manifests the beauty in several ways and dimensions. Flowers & fruits, Rainbow, Sunset, and Snow-covered mountains are some examples. Children look beautiful due to the innocence. It's strange to see some people taking all measures to beautify their selves and stay slim, but do not guide their children in the same direction. As a consequence, the kids grow out of shape and look older than their parents. The majority of the people gives importance to the impermanent superficiality than the strength of the flawless minds.

Beauty is a relative concept and depends on the viewer: what is beauty for one person makes no impact on another. Admiration of beauty is permissible, but not the possession of it unless available for ownership. Visitors are cautioned not to touch the exhibits in a palace or pluck the flowers in a garden. Humans crave for beauty since the day of civilization. All resources right from the roots of the plants to the milk of animals have been tapped to keep the beauty intact. In the modern times, costly cosmetic techniques like plastic surgery, liposuction, transplantation, etc. are in place in addition to the use of chemical preparations such as creams, gels, shampoos, and lotions. Artists and actors need the makeup for their livelihood.

Beauty consists of Natural and Artificial types. Anything that appears attractive in its original form is a natural beauty. Animals and birds look grand without any clothes or jewelry. The attires and cosmetics, make even an ugly person look smart. A Tamil proverb 'Clothes make man complete' confirms this. However, to impress others, some wear expensive dresses while some bare their organs. The conduct and character reveal the beauty of the human mind. Many are well dressed, but they lack in demeanor. There are personalities like Mahatma Gandhi that dressed simply but displayed the beauty through wisdom and sacrifice. It's a common saying that Beauty and talent cannot be found together in a person.

Beautification of the body with the natural materials is better than the employment of synthetics. The latter is not only costly but produces harmful side effects. For example, the regular use of the hair dye is reported to cause allergies like sinusitis, loss of color and texture of the normal hair besides running the risks of various cancers. Moreover, the costs of medical care and the personal sufferings to replenish the normal health are avoidable. The extra time spent to decorate oneself sometimes ended in missing the journey or appointment. Why should we invite trouble by spending our efforts and money unwisely?

The beauty of the body fades with the age, while the beautiful minds enliven the life forever. Nonetheless, the beautification helps to raise our spirits and build self-confidence. Any overindulgence adversely affects our time, health, and money. Dr. Abdul Kalam, the former President of India, said, "Dreams of Beauty will derail our duties, Dreams of duty will make the life beautiful."

How To Find A Right Hair Salon?

Most of the time people find a hair salon that they like and they do not change hair dressers unless they move, or their stylist moves. That is because our hair is one of the first things people see about us and when we find someone that can do what we want to our hair we do not look for anyone else.

If you move to a new town, or something happens to make you have to start going to a new beauty salon there are a few things you can do to make sure you choose the right beauty salon for your needs.

Choosing a hair salon and stylist may take some time, but consider the following things when you are deciding which beauty shop to try out.

The location of the shop. You want your hair stylist to be in close proximity to your job or to your home. That way you do not have to travel a long distance in order to get your hair cut or styled.

Does the beauty shop do all types of hair treatments? Some people like to have their hair cut, washed, blow dried, colored, straightened, or curled. Not all stylists perform all of these hair treatments. Choose a salon that does all of the different treatments you might want in the future so you do not have to find a new shop when you want to do something different. If you like to have your eyebrows waxed and your nails done you might want to look for a salon that does all of these things.

Check the hours of operation for the establishment. You know what time of day you are most likely going to be able to schedule an appointment so make sure the shop you are considering is open at those times. Some shops are open late or open extra early so their working clientele can still get the hair treatments they need.

Ask people who they use for a hair stylist. You will be able to increase your list of possible stylist if you check with friends and family to see who they go to.

Make an appointment for something easy like a trim. Then see if you have to wait a long time when you arrive, or if you like the atmosphere of the establishment. You have to take your decision properly and make sure you do everything accordingly.

The majority of people find a hair salon they like and they do not go to any other beauty salon. If you are new to an area you might have to search to find the right place for your beauty treatment needs.

In Love With Perfume

In Love With Perfume
Although this sounds like an easy task, the person needs to understand why they love perfume. Although this sounds like a fairly simple answer, in essence it's more complex than that. The topic of perfume is basically a complex topic that perfume designers have spent years studying. Not only is perfume a commercial beauty product, there are the chemistry components that need to be considered, which includes fashion and social trends. For me, I love perfume as it reminds me of beautiful things and that makes me happy. I also enjoy discovering the complexities of the fragrance creation, the intricacies of aroma-material synergy, and the end result of a harmonious scent.

But loving perfume goes beyond just finding the perfect scent. Think about the last best-selling novel you read. There was a story behind that novel and the same is true for perfume. Great fragrances tell a story that tends to enchant the wearer. When I smell a new fragrance I let my imagination go and see if any memories evolve from it. Woodsy scents remind me of as a child walking through the national parks. Floral scents remind me of my love of roses and carnations, while fruity scents take me back to the neighbors lemon and orange trees.

These memories lead to interesting stories that we share with others that love perfume. Although these may be shared over the internet it's very rewarding to hear how a particular fragrance conjures up different stories and fantasies for others. This can also lead to becoming more accustomed to all the smells in our surroundings and appreciating the simple pleasures. Think about the last magazine you read with advertisements for new shiny cars, a dream vacation to the beach and latest in diamond jewelry and watches. You can even find perfume ads that are created along the same elaborate lines of money and sex. Keep in mind that being aware of scents doesn't mean running out and purchasing all the new fragrances that come out. Many people are content with only having a couple of bottles of perfume and still find their lives to be enormously enriched by the pleasure of discovering aromas.

Many people say that they like perfume, but only a handful can actually say that they love it. Those that love perfume also love art and food more so than the average person. Perfume lovers enjoy the stories and the memories associated with certain fragrances and can envision themselves somewhere else. Perfume lovers also like to talk about their discoveries and how they have categorized them whether it is by their notes or quality.

Each person is different, and whether you like or love perfume is a personal preference. For some it may take some time to develop the love for perfume.
